This is the one that I am going for... I like the frame and think I can make it match my cabinets for a custom look... The whole project is going to cost me under $25.00 everything I picked it all up at my friendly home depot store!

I encourage everyone to try this in there home. The kids love it and it may help you be better organized! That is a plus for us moms! Here are some other ideas I find fascinating...

To make this project easier I found at my local home dept thin sheets of chalk board & white . You do not even have to paint if making a smaller project. Just cut frame and glue or hang a ribbon would soften the look!

Do not write off the paint just yet... For under 30.00 you can paint just about anything you might want to write on...
